No matter where people live, there are not so many of them who like going to a dentist. Putting up with dental treatment instruments stuck in the mouth is torturing. Going to a dentist is something people want to avoid even in their own country, and there is nothing to speak of going to a dentist in Japan, where a language barrier exists. But no matter how badly they dislike it, leaving teeth unchecked for long time is no good to keep their teeth in a good condition. They also focus on esthetic dentistry treatments such as teeth whitening. To encourage their patients to care for their own teeth, they give personalized dental care books to the patients. By reading this book, a patient can see the condition in his/her mouth including teeth that are not brushed properly due to his/her brushing pattern. There is a English-speaking staff in this clinic to support patients who do not speak Japanese.

Good communication between patient and dentist is crucial when having these treatments, because the treatments normally take a long period of time and there would be detailed explanations from a dentist. There are many dental clinics that provide same type of treatments only in Japanese, but dentists of this clinic have their qualification overseas, therefore are fluent in English. There are only few orthodontic clinics provide their services in English in Japan. Neda-ku in Kobe is just 30 minutes away from the center of Osaka by train. Unlike tooth decay treatment, orthodontic treatment generally requires a long period of time to complete. Especially, teeth straightening for adults normally takes years. Therefore, understanding dentist’s instruction and explanation is important for have treatment properly. for people who are hesitant to have bracing because of language barrier, English-speaking orthodontist is hard to find in Japan. This clinic accepts only patients who made appointments.

There is no better way to protect your teeth than cavity prevention. Having prevention treatment at dental clinic is widely encouraged in many countries.
