The Soshigaya-Okura station was first opened in 1927, which is an interesting taste of history right there! One station before Seijougakuen-mae on the Odakyu line, Soshigaya is home to the famed Ultra Man, which was a popular live action TV show back in the 60’s. The main shopping street is lined with uniquely characterized street lamps and nostalgic action photos from this loved TV drama.
One can enjoy the lively buzz of the Soshigaya Ookura’s populated shopping streets and local restaurants, which include everything from yakiniku (Korean BBQ) and Indian cuisine, to mom and pop cafes and a delicious local hamburger shop.
