Sharehouse Omiya opened in April, 2015 in this area just 30 minutes from Tokyo. There are 30 people in the sharehouse; the differing ages, occupations and nationalities of these residents ensure you never run out of things to talk about. The smooth interior of the spacious lounge suits the retro-modern furniture. It feels like you are inside a cool café. You can relax here, and even the shyest of residents can feel comfortable here. Enjoy parties with other housemates. It’s a great chance to make friends from all over Japan - and all over the world. The rooms are the size of 4 and half tatami mats, you will feel soothed by the smell of the traditional tatami flooring. The large number of toilets, showers and sinks ensure there is no scrap for space each morning. Omiya station is a 14 minute walk away, and plenty of big stores like SOGO, Daiei, Marui, Takashimaya are conveniently located near the station.
